STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Bratwurst, burgers, lobster, and rice balls with a little sausage and peppers in between — that’s how the borough’s five Rotaries and Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 will roll on the food for their fifth annual Oktoberfest. Food trucks and live music will be part of the draw to the clubs’ collaboration, a giant fundraiser for veteran care and services.
The one-day affair runs from noon to 7 p.m. at Pouch Camp on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021. The entrance to the camporee field is located across from the Jewish Community Center on Manor Road.
